The Navigator, Browser and many property dialogs use a tree to represent objects and organize content. All of these trees use a similar set of operations, including:

Press the Left and Right arrow keys to close or open the children of a tree node.
To view and edit object properties, press the Space bar while the object is selected in the Navigator or Browser to display a modal Properties dialog box. Or, view/edit object properties directly in the Properties dialog at the bottom of the Browser.
Press Tab to shift focus to editing control and begin editing. Pressing Tab again shifts focus to a dropdown arrow or ellipses button if applicable. If applicable press Enter or Space to use.
Press Tab to move the cursor to the right (edit) column of a property grid when the focus is in the left (property name) column. Then Press the Up and Down arrow keys to cycle through choices. Press Shift+Tab to move back to the left column.
Use the alphanumeric keys to edit text fields.
Press Esc to cancel any property changes and close the Properties dialog.
Press Enter while editing to save changes to parameter values and close the Properties dialog.
