9.4.1. Locating Scripts/Modules

A Python script located in a separate .py file is often called a Python module. The module search path is a list of directories in which Python looks for a module when you import it. When using Python within Analyst, various directories are automatically added to the module search path. To view some of these directories see “Showing Files and Folders ” and reference the Python section. You can additionally view the complete module search path by executing "print(sys.path)" in the Python Scripting control.
