9.2. Object Access From Scripts

In addition to scripting an entire Analyst session, it is also common to use scripting to work with specific objects in Analyst. The most common way to associate a Python object with an Analyst object is by choosing Create Script Object from the various tree control context menus (e.g. solid node in the Browser, plot node in the Navigator. Upon initiating this action, a dialog is shown asking for an object name. Upon close this object name can be used to access that Analyst object from the Scripting Input control.
