5.7.7. Convergence Considerations for Steady-State Simulations

In general, the proof of convergence for any MICHELLE steady-state gun, collector, or transport simulation is that the work of the Poisson solver goes to zero under the assumption that the L2 norm is small enough. If the L2 norm is small enough but the solver is still working, other factors require consideration. These are described in more detail below for the following simulation types:
