5.6.4. Considerations

Particle simulations are often more difficult to interpret than conventional field analysis, partly because particle initiation and secondary emission are random processes. This introduces an inherent variability in the results that often requires multiple runs with various parameter settings to ensure that a robust result has been obtained. Some considerations for particle simulations are given as follows.
