During the simulation, MS3p calculates the solution on a series of meshes. You can view all of these meshes via mesh annotations; for information on how to create a mesh annotation, see “Annotations”. In general, the set of meshes will contain the volumetric meshes used for the entire AMR process. It can be useful to look at mesh annotations to ensure the system is numerically represented as intended. For example, if the curvature refinement is set too low, curved surfaces may be poorly represented in the mesh, and you see this by looking at a mesh annotation.
