5.4.1. Requirements

ES3p solves the electrostatics problem in three dimensions; as a result, only 3D models can be analyzed using ES3p. There should be one contiguous simulation domain that contains all of the structures in the system. The simulation domain may be located anywhere in 3D space.

Every ES3p simulation must contain at least one source (conductor with nonzero voltage), and it may contain as many sources as the system requires.
