3.5.4.1. Profiles

A sweep must involve one or more profiles. Typically these profiles are sheet solids created using one of the sheet solid types or a sheet (2D) sketch-based solid. However, a profile may be a wire if the intent is for the sweep to produce a sheet body.

Note that the location of the profiles control the location of the resulting sweep. The location of the paths is irrelevant.
