To assign a hotkey, on the Home ribbon, in the Settings group, click . In the Hotkeys dialog box under Windows, select the window that contains the command to which you want to assign a hotkey, then under Command select the specific command. In the Hotkey text box, type the key or key-combination you want to assign as the shortcut, except those listed as reserved keys, then click the button. You can assign the same keys or key combinations to multiple commands if the commands exist in different views. If a view has a corresponding browser the assigned hotkeys work when the browser has focus. Typically, hotkeys are user-specific but support for all user hotkeys is discussed in the following section.
NOTE: Many view commands have fixed keyboard shortcuts. When active, these are listed in the message area at the bottom left of the main window and they override all hotkey assignments.
