This book describes how to use the Analyst windows, menu choices, and components in preparation for performing a variety of multiphysics simulations. It includes discussions of related concepts when appropriate.
Chapter 2 provides an overview of Analyst and describes how to set up and work with models. Chapters 3 through 6 describe in detail the structure, simulation, annotations, plots, and post-processing that comprise an Analyst project. Chapter 7 describes variable and expression use in Analyst, chapter 8 provides information about linking to or importing data files, and chapter 9 explains the use of the scripting API and Recorder window and recorded operations. Appendix A is comprised of tables that detail the Analyst Python API.
This guide assumes that you are familiar with Microsoft® Windows®, and have a working knowledge of 3D modeling.
