3.1.11. Working Plane

The working plane is used primarily for geometry construction. It is defined by an orientation (XY, YZ or ZX) and a normal offset distance. A grid is normally shown on this plane but you can turn it off to reduce view clutter. Various solids inherit aspects of the working plane upon construction, including all sketch-based and some surface solids.
