3.5.1.21. Wire Spline

Description

A wire representing a B-spline edge that passes through a series of points. It requires two additional points used to control tangent directions at the start and end.

Parameters

Label – A unique name that identifies the solid. (ISolid/Label)

Coordinate System – The coordinate system in which the solid is defined. Defaults to working coordinate system at time of creation. (ISolid/CoordinateSystem)

Visible - Indicates if the solid is shown in the view. (ISolid/Visible)

Mesh Control Only - Indicates if the solid is used as a tool to control meshing. If True, the portion of the solid that does not overlap the other normal solid is thrown away prior to simulation. Additionally, the material of such a solid is irrelevant so the material parameter is hidden. (ISolid/MeshControlOnly)

Start Tangent Point - [LENGTH] –The vector from this point to Point 1 defines the tangent direction at the start of the spline. Defined in the solid’s coordinate system. (IPoint/Location)

Point "n" - [LENGTH] – Location of point[n] of the spline defined in the solid’s coordinate system. (IPoint/Location)

End Tangent Point - [LENGTH] –The vector from the last Point "n" to this point defines the tangent direction at end start of the spline. Defined in the solid’s coordinate system. (IPoint/Location)
