7.4.3. Varying Geometry

You may create a parameterized model and then want to experiment with different dimensions for that model. If you create a value set then you can experiment and then easily revert the model back to the dimensions you started with. Here is a small example showing how this flow works.

  1. Here you have created a parameterized horn antenna.

  2. You have created a value set and assigned its variables with the values you want to experiment with. See “Creating a Value Set” for more information. Here you switch to the second value set.

  3. This image shows the result of switching to the second value set. All four variables have changed along with the parameters that use those variables resulting in a global change to the geometry.
