3.6.12.1. Remove Faces

Removing a set of faces results in the adjacent faces growing to fill the newly created gap(s). Not all faces can be removed; for example you cannot remove one side of a cube as the adjacent faces cannot grow in such a way as to close the resulting gap. The following sections contain several examples of defeaturing by face removal.
