The following functions can be performed on scalars.

`acosh(x)` inverse hyperbolic cosine of `x` `x`: real or complex number with None unit real or complex number with Phase unit
`asin(x)` inverse sine of `x` `x`: real or complex number with None unit real number with Phase unit
`asinh(x)` inverse hyperbolic sine of `x` `x`: real or complex number with None unit real or complex number with Phase unit
`atan(x)` inverse tangent of `x` `x`: real or complex number with None unit real or complex number with Phase unit
`atan2(y, x)` four quadrant inverse tangent of `y/x` `x`: real number with any unit, `y`: real number with any unit real or complex number with Phase unit
`atanh(x)` inverse hyperbolic tangent of `x` `x`: real or complex number with None unit real or complex number with Phase unit
`ceil(x)` Returns the next largest integral value greater than or equal to `x` `x`: real number with any unit real number with `x's` unit
`cos(x)` cosine of `x` `x`: real or complex number with Phase unit real or complex number with None unit
`cosh(x)` hyperbolic cosine of `x` `x`: real or complex number with Phase unit real or complex number with None unit
`exp(x)` Natural exponent of `x` `x`: real number with None unit real number with None unit
`floor(x)` Returns the next smallest integral value less than or equal to `x` `x`: real number with any unit real number with `x's` unit
`ln(x)` natural logarithm of `x` `x`: real number with None unit real number with None unit
`log(x)` base 10 logarithm of `x` `x`: real number with None unit real number with None unit
`max(x, y, ...)` Returns the greatest argument value real numbers with any unit the greatest argument value
`min(x, y)` Returns the least argument value real numbers with any unit the least argument value
`mod(x, y)` Calculates the remainder of the division of two numbers `x`: real number with any unit, `y`: real number with any unit remainder of `x` divided by `y`
`pow(x, exponent)` Raises `x` to the power of `exponent` `x`: real or complex number with any unit, `exponent`: real or complex number with None unit real or complex number with the unit of `x` to the `exponent` power
`round(x, sigfigs)` Rounds `x` to the number of significant figures defined by `sigfigs`. `x`: real number with any unit, `sigfigs`: positive integer with None unit real number with the unit of `x`
`sign(x)` Returns 0 if `x` is equal to 0, 1 if `x` is greater than 0, -1 otherwise. `x`: real number with any unit real number with None unit
`sin(x)` sin of `x` `x`: real or complex number with Phase unit real or complex number with None unit
`sinh(x)` hyperbolic sin of `x` `x`: real or complex number with Phase unit real or complex number with None unit
`sqrt(x)` square root of `x` `x`: real or complex number with any unit real or complex number with the unit of `x` to the 1/2 power
