3.8.7.1. Translate

Description

Represents the motion of an element along a vector by a specific distance.

Parameters

Label – A unique name that identifies the transformation. (IElementOperation/Label)

Coordinate – The coordinate system in which the direction is defined. Defaults to local coordinate system of the sketch. (IElementTranslation/CoordinateSystem)

Direction – Direction in which to move the element. This is a unitless vector and its magnitude is irrelevant. (IElementTranslation/Direction)

Magnitude - [LENGTH] – Distance of the translation. (IElementTranslation/Magnitude)

Include - Indicates if the operation is included in the regeneration process. (IElementOperation/Include)

Mouse click order is:
1. Select Element(s)
2. Start Point
3. End Point

An alternative way to translate is to click and drag the element.
