5.3. 2D/3D Eigenmode (OM2p/OM3p)

OM2p and OM3p are the eigensolver components of the Analyst solver library. OM3p is the 3D eigensolver component, and it solves eigenproblems in the 3D Cartesian coordinate system. OM2p is the 2D parallel eigensolver component, and it solves eigenproblems in both 2D Cartesian coordinates, and 2D cylindrical coordinates. OM2p and OM3p will solve for the eigenmodes of a system in the presence of lossy and anisotropic materials. Both OM2p and OM3p are described in this section.
