7.2.1.3. Conditional Functions

The following functions can be performed on scalars.

Function Description Arguments Result
if(check, true, false) Returns true if check not equals zero and false otherwise check: real number with None unit, true: real number with any unit, false: real number with any unit true or false
assert(conditional expression) or assert(conditional expression, phrase) Verifies a conditional expression is true conditional expression: real number with None unit, phrase: textual message to display when the assertion fails. Surround the phrase in single or double quotes. The phrase is optional. If no phrase is supplied a default one is used. 1 None if the conditional expression is non-zero and the phrase or default message as an error otherwise
