3.11.1.6. Excluding Attributes from Simulation

By default all assigned attributes are used in all simulations. You can exclude an attribute from simulation by either changing Include in Simulation to False or by right-clicking the attribute in the Browser and choosing Exclude From Simulation from the context menu. This action does not delete the attribute.

Once excluded, the attribute no longer influences the coloring/display in the Structure window and is marked with a red X icon in the Browser.

You cannot change an excluded attribute's visibility using the light bulb in the Browser. To include the attribute either change Include in Simulation to True or right-click it in the Browser and choose Include in Simulation from the context menu.

Associating a variable with the Include in Simulation parameter allows you to use different attributes in different simulations. See “Using Value Sets”.
