7.2.1.6. Measurement Functions

The functions below can be used to retrieve values from a measurement.

Function Description Arguments Result
meas_value(measurement label, row, column, default value)

Retrieves a value from a measurement's data. See “Plot View Table Tab” for more information.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

value at the specified row and column

The following functions take two sets of rol and column positions to select a contiguous group of cells. To specify row headers set the column to -1. To specify column headers set the row to -1. Row or column headers select the entire row or column. The number of cells is dependent on current simulation data. See “Multiple Cell, Row and Column Selection” for more information.

Function Description Arguments Result
meas_min(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the minimum value from a group of cells in a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

minimum value
meas_max(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the maximum value from a group of cells in a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

maximum value
meas_avg(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the average value from a group of cells in a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

average value
meas_median(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the median value from a group of cells in a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

median value
meas_sum(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the sum from a group of cells in a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

sum value
meas_row_count(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the number of rows in the selection from a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”

row count
meas_cell_count(measurement label, start row, start column, end row, end column, default value)

Retrieves the number of cells in the selection from a measurement's table.

See “Measurement Function Arguments”
